The cottage is equipped for a comfortable stay, with some guests appreciating the thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, and biscuits on arrival.

Most guests found the cottage to be clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, a few reports of cleanliness issues, such as an uncleaned property upon arrival and dust under the sofa, suggest room for improvement in this area.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its peacefulness and convenience, situated within walking distance to pubs and a short drive from various Cotswolds attractions. The scenic views and easy access to walks contribute to its excellent location rating.

Guests have found the cottage comfortable, with a cosy bed and a well-appointed interior. Some guests suggested improvements such as a larger bed or better mattress, but overall, the comfort level is regarded as satisfactory.

The cottage is generally seen as well-equipped and maintained, with amenities that guests found satisfactory for their stay. However, there were comments about small TVs, issues with the oven, and a lack of logs for the fire, indicating that some facilities could be enhanced.

Guests have mentioned appreciative gestures such as the provision of tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits upon arrival. While these gifts are well-received, it should be noted that such offerings are subject to change and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Not only that, but those with a taste for all things swish can either pop to Daylesford Organic Farm which is about 10 mins away or alternatively you can gorge yourself at the multitude of top notch pubs in the vicinity, all convenient enough for a walk (long or short!) Inside, Appin is a cosy rural retreat with snug woodburning stove which will keep you toasty all year round and large bedroom upstairs that you can soak up the views without so much as lifting your head off the pillow! Well appointed, everything you might need, clean , tidy and comfortable. Walking distance to Lamb Inn, 10 minute drive to Burford. If you have a big car , parking is a challenge but ok a little way away. This time the Central Heating didn't work but the Log Burner heats the whole house. Third time we've visited and we will be back !!

The owner sent a very informative email once booked with links to walks and details of local pubs. The cottage was stunning and had everything you would need and more, it was spotless and just perfect for the two of us. It was in a great location for visiting local villages and as said a short walk to three fantastic pubs. We loved this cottage and hope to be back sometime because it was a little gem !

My wife hung clothes in the cupboard in the bedroom and that was a big mistake because they came out smelling of damp. We had to open all windows to ease the smell. We had to wash cutlery and the glass board in the kitchen before we could use them and the sink draining board was dirty. Considering the high price to stay here, I expected considerably better than what we found. Sitting out the front enjoying the late sun was nice and all neighbours walking past were very pleasant and had a chat.
