There are many lovely touches throughout, the woodburner in the Inglenook Tudor fireplace, a smart little kitchen and three good sized bedrooms upstairs all with very comfortable beds and mattresses make it a special and homely choice. The owners have cleverly mixed period, antique furniture with modern twists throughout the cottage. Outside is a private garden area, with table and chairs, whilst Burford High Street with its quirky collection of shops, restaurants and galleries is at the end of the lane, so you can choose to do "absolutely nothing" and treat yourself when staying, or you can bolt the door and stay cocooned in this delightful cottage hideaway. A very cute Cotswolds cottage indeed!

Burford is justifiably one of the most picturesque towns in England. Situated in the Cotswolds and located mid-way between Oxford and Cheltenham (25 mins each away) it is a little haven of history and beauty that many come to fall in love with when they visit. The 16th century Tolsey building, once the meeting place for medieval merchants, now houses The Tolsey Museum, a delightful local museum illustrating the town's social and industrial past. History awaits! With little changing over the centuries, Burford is now very popular with visitors, both for its beauty and history but also for its shopping and antiques, and for the wide variety of places to eat, with restaurants, pubs and teashops.
