Rosewood Barn holds an excellent location, situated in between the pretty towns of Faringdon and Bampton, both just a 10-minute car journey away and complete with all necessary amenities. Fans of ‘Downton Abbey’ may recognise Bampton, also known as ‘Downton Village’ where all the village scenes were filmed. It’s countryside location in the Chimney Meadows Nature Reserve makes it a peaceful location, perfect for those looking for long walks and wildlife spotting.

The Barn has been lovingly renovated and modernised, boasting comfortable furnishings and all the facilities you could wish for, for a more than enjoyable stay. Rosewood sleeps up to eight guests across four beautiful bedrooms, an additional two guests can be accommodated in the living room on the double sofa bed. The accommodation comprises of a spacious living area, a fully-equipped kitchen with dining facilities as well as a separate dining room. There are two family bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom, both comprising of king-size beds with an additional single-bed. There is also a further double and twin bedroom and two family bathrooms.

Outside, the enclosed courtyard garden to the front of the property makes a safe area for children to play. The dining facilities and barbecue are great for entertaining al fresco!

*Rosewood Barn can be booked with either Aviary Barn or Meadow Barn to accommodate between 18 and 26 people. Alternatively, all three barns can be booked together to accommodate up to 32-40 persons. (subject to availability)

The market town of Burford, known as the “gateway to the Cotswolds”, is just a 20-minute drive away, it boasts an excellent high street with independent shops, galleries and restaurants and really is a must-visit. For those wishing to explore the wider area and perhaps do a little shopping, Oxford itself and Bicester Designer Village are just 40-minutes away.
