Red Kite is a charming chocolate box cottage perfectly positioned in the little market town of Watlington. Set on the Oxfordshire/ Buckinghamshire border it makes an ideal place to be based to explore the Chiltern Hills, Oxford and the Cotswolds.

This pretty 1800’s cottage is full of character and has a lovely garden where the local red kite’s sometimes like to repose high up in the trees. Red Kite Cottage has under gone a major refurbishment and whilst retaining the cottages charm and character the cottage has been given a luxury makeover with lots of personal touches to make your stay a special experience.

An open fire in the cosy sitting room, a country kitchen with all you will need to feel at home and two bedrooms to choose from are all complimented by the gardens and the lovely location on the edge of the town. Nestled in the foothills of the Chiltern Hills, Watlington is an attractive small market town offering a great choice of boutique independent shops, delightful pubs and a number of fabulous country walks all on your doorstep.

Red Kite Cottage: sleeps 3+1 in 2 bedrooms with 1 bathroom. Front and back gardens with parking for 2 cars. 
Ground Floor
Sitting room: seating for four, TV with Youview, DVD player, open fire with one basket of logs, table with seating for four.
Kitchen: fridge with freezer box, electric oven and hob, dishwasher and microwave.
Bathroom: small bath with shower overhead and washing machine.
First Floor
Master Bedroom (sleeps 2), double, TV with Freeview and wardrobes. 
Bedroom 2 (sleeps 2), Single bed with pull out bed that lifts into a second single bed suitable for a child under the age of 16. Please be aware if using the pull out bed then the main bedroom door will not close fully. 
Outside
The front garden is used as the main cottage garden with table and chairs, BBQ and with parking for two cars.
Back courtyard garden with a secure shed to store two bikes.
