"Two anomalies, the fridge was small and a broken shelf made it even less usable and secondly we had to strongly push to get the shower mended - there was no way to turn down the heat. We also felt it was overpriced."

"The accommodation could not have been more perfect - beautiful restored old building, very nice decorated, immaculately clean throughout and in the most wonderful setting right next to the Thames Path for the fairly short walk in to Wallingford. Our 3 year old son absolutely loved looking at the boats on this secluded part of the river! Could not have been a more perfect couple of days, Sophie is a wonderful kind host and extremely responsive to any questions we had on the apartment. Thanks and we’ll be back! :)"

" Our children (9 & 12) enjoyed it so much they complained that we were going out too much, they want to come back just to stay in the property and play in the garden!! My youngest has asked if we can buy it :) The only incredibly slight quibbles I have are that one of the single beds is very squeaky - it caused the only argument over the week and the fridge isn't the best (make sure it's on a v. cold setting before you put your stuff in). "

"The owners, John and Trish, are charming and so helpful and friendly. What made our stay even better was the short walk through their lovely garden to the riverside where we could take a stroll along the Thames Path into Wallingford. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay and we'll certainly make a return visit."
