Lovely spacious cottage, very snug with heating on on cooler days. Enjoyed visiting the local area and had a wonderful day at Bletchley Park.Only negatives was we did not have Internet connection during the whole week. House book explained this was because of distance from the transmitter (so why advertise wifi??), and There were only 2 mugs and no teapot. I know its only a two person cottage but never stayed anywhere where there weren't multiple mugs! I think the cost of staying could cover another 2 mugs!

Attention to detail was not given to cleaning. Cobwebs in corners, dirty light switches, extractor in bathroom was dusty. No heating controls so was either too hot or cold. 3 frying pans all worn out and useless, cooking utensils stained and worn. Pillows dirty under the covers. Flies in cottage.

Sadly, we found a very dirty microwave, which we had to clean before use. It worked and then didn't !! The carpets were stained and decor looked tired. Ant traps on window sills and a dirty cleaning sponge. Crumbs in the cupboard and to be honest, I don't feel cleaned deeply for covid precautions. Couldn't connect to WIFI.Bed was comfy and quiet location.
