Hidden away up a private drive in beautiful landscaped grounds is the cosy and endearing Bumble Bee Cottage.  Surrounded by the gardens of a listed 16th century manor house, the cottage is a secluded and tranquil escape made for two, complete with log burning stove. Wander through the grounds and sunken garden to the tennis court and cedar wood pavilion available for guest's use. Wickhambreaux village is a picturesque English village surrounded by water meadows, with a pub on the village green, beautiful period properties, thatched cottages and a water mill on the meandering Little Stour river. The medieval city of Canterbury is only five miles away, with a whole host of museums cafes and restaurants, or  head for the coast where you will find miles of sandy and pebble beaches, traditional seaside towns and artisan shops aplenty. Shop: 1.5 miles     Pub: 200 yds   Coast: 12 miles

Bedroom has a king sized brass framed bed with 3000 spring mattress and a memory foam topper, bedlinen is Egyptian cotton (400 thread count).   A wall mounted reading light is fitted over the bed, with bed side tables, lambskin rugs and a built-in wardrobe.  En-Suite Wet Room is fully tiled with a walk-in high pressure rain shower and hand held shower attachment, plus hand basin and w.c

Garden: Private area of brick paved par terre garden with herb beds to the front of the cottage with garden furniture.  Guests are also  invited to explore the extensive grounds and gardens surrounding the main house (there is a private garden for the Home Owner's personal use), including a sunken garden, rose garden and meadows with mature trees. The tennis court and cedarwood pavilion are also available for guests' use.There is a wood fired barbecue for use in the summer months.

Notes:   Access to the property is via a gated private driveway with key code access. NO smoking at this property and no pets allowed. Babes in arms accepted, but guests should bring their own cot.  A laundry service can be provided on request for a charge of £10 per load.  A basket of logs is provided for the log burner.
