Hay Barn is tucked away in a secluded spot in the lovely unspoiled countryside of the Weald of Kent, close to the National Trust village of Chiddingstone. It has been tastefully converted into a charming, contemporary cottage, decorated in calm, neutral colours. The airy living accommodation with high-beamed ceilings gives a wonderful sense of space, and it is comfortably furnished with a mixture of new and traditional pieces to give a pleasing country effect. The added luxury of under-floor heating makes this property suitable for all year-round holidays.

Being on the ground floor only, with wide doors, some wall-rails and no internal steps, Hay Barn qualifies has previously qualified under the Accessibility scheme as suitable for older & less mobile guests.

The French doors open into a private walled landscaped courtyard with stone & brick paver surfaces, raised flower beds, and shrubs.

Front Garden area, with lawn & trees, is shared with Straw Barn.

The surrounding farm has sheep, with lambs in the spring, chickens and sometimes also pigs & cows. It has public footpaths, bridleways, in beautiful countryside with lovely views to the North Downs.
