Goudhurst village is memorable with its church high on the hill and the village green complete with duck pond and thriving local shops, pubs and restaurants. From Bluecoats you can walk across the Finchcocks and Scotney estates and maybe pop into the museum to see the unique collection of early pianos. Sissinghurst Castle and Scotney Castle are both nearby as well as Bedgebury Pinetum so there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the beautiful gardens and walks that abound in this lovely area of South East England.
