The parking was a bit of an issue, as it is first come, first serve. The pub was just across the road. A nice sea view

We expect a cottage to be of an equivalent standard or better than our own home. Unfortunately Sandsview was a huge disappointment on all counts for us. The accommodation needs updating with a new bathroom and kitchen needed for starters. The whole place could also do with a lick of paint. We cooked once only in the kitchen and ate out after that first and last experience as we felt everything had to be cleaned prior to use. The back rooms in the property are all very dark due to being located next to the cliff which can’t be helped but the windows couldn’t be used for fear of the pigeons outside that have got through the netting. As a result the back windows couldn’t be opened to let in fresh air. The bathroom smells a bit musty. Parking was a bit of an issue and we ended up parking on top of the cliff for most of the week. We also returned home a day early as we couldn’t endure another day.

..and we were not disappointed...we love the house and its proximity for all amenities...very homely...comfortable beds...this year we managed to park every day in the cul-de sac...will be back again next year.
