About this property

An immaculately-presented apartment set over the first and second floors of a detached property in the heart of Ramsgate. This holiday apartment is ideally located for couples and families looking to stay within a short walk of all amenities, but still quiet enough to let you relax and unwind in true holiday style. As you enter this lovely apartment, you will be amazed at how light and spacious each room is. On the first floor, the large sitting room offers guests deep, comfy seating with a flat screen TV and DVD player, where on chilly evenings everyone can gather together and enjoy a good film and a glass of wine, or on warm, sunny days you can open the French doors to the balcony and let a soft, seaside breeze drift in while you plan eventful days ahead. Why not take your morning coffee and sit out on the balcony, look out over the sea in the distance or people watch those passing below? On the second floor are two attractive bedrooms; the master bedroom benefits from comfortable seating and distant sea views, and the triple bunks bedroom is an excellent choice for a couple, family or children. Less than a minute's walk from this lovely self-catering apartment, you will find shops, pubs, restaurants and a convenient takeaway. Of course, a visit to Ramsgate, renowned for its golden sands and picture perfect marina, wouldn't be complete without a day on the beach, making for a great seaside holiday. At certain times during the year you can even go seal watching, with boats leaving the harbour daily. Go back in time and explore the tunnels where Ramsgate residents lived during the bombings in WWII, visit the shrine of St Augustine and Pugin's burial place, go on a sea fishing trip, cycle the Viking Way, listen to live music in the local pubs, go wild with retail therapy at Westwood Cross, or take a stroll along the beach as the sun sets and take in the sea air. Ramsgate has it all, and this lovely self-catering apartment is an ideal place to stay and enjoy it.

Ramsgate is a wonderful blend of maritime heritage, architectural splendour and a touch of cosmopolitan pizzazz. Why not dine alfresco and watch the yachts sail in and out of the marina, or stroll along the promenade to the harbour and choose something tasty from one of the boats landing their daily catch? Whether it be beach combing or boat rides, Ramsgate has it all to offer.

.all within 100m. Main seafront 10 min walk, off road parking front of property. Maria, owner, absolutely lovely friendly accommodating lady. Aug 23, spent great week, would happily return.

There is a decent sized Coop with an ATM, a pub and a Chinese takeaway at the end of the street. The owner, Maria, is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

The bathroom would benefit from an update as it is quite snug and maybe just have a shower fitted. Alternatively, an en-suite in the main bedroom would be ideal as the bathroom is downstairs and of a night time inconvenient for going to. The property had everything needed in the respect of tea, coffee and essential items including spices also plenty of cooking saucepans and crockery etc. Although,we enjoyed our stay the two flights of stairs plus other stairs to climb to the bedrooms with luggage are quite daunting and not suitable for anyone with limited mobility.
