Margate could have been made for family holidays, and The Old Town House has everything you need to make your stay on the Kent coast one to remember. Let’s start on the ground floor, and the open plan living, kitchen and dining space which has a bright, airy feel that makes curling up as a family on the corner sofa only too tempting after a busy day.

The Smart TV with Freeview and DVD player should keep the children entertained in between adventures, and there’s plenty of space in the kitchen to cook those long lazy brunches and family dinners. Just imagine long days on the sandy beach and then coming home to a plate of your favourite food and a DVD night as a family…now that’s quality time.

Upstairs, you’ll find the second bedroom on the first floor, and the bed can be arranged as a twin for the kids or a king size if you’re staying with friends. The second floor’s home to a master bedroom with a king size bed, complete with an en suite shower room for a little extra privacy.

Located on one of the main routes into Margate, The Old Town House is within walking distance to all amenities.  A cot and highchair are offered to make things a little easier for mums and dads too.

Margate’s one of those seaside destinations that has a place in Britain’s heart, and with Dreamland amusement park, Turner Contemporary and bucket and spade days on the beach to welcome you, it’s easy to see why the nation’s fallen back in love with it in recent years.
