Surrounded by various walking routes this is the ideal base for a peaceful and quiet country getaway during the summer or winter months.

This cosy self-catering holiday cottage in Kent has been completed to the highest standard with an open aspect giving it a real feeling of light and space. The owners have given it a contemporary style and have added a high specification well equipped kitchen and bathroom.

After a day of exploring, walking or shopping, what better place to relax in the summer than in your own garden; just put your feet up and listen to bird song while drinking a nice beverage. Take a seat on the quaint garden arbour bench at the end of your garden to read a good book or plan your next day’s itinerary. You might be joined by the chickens as they like a bit of company too!

Or retreat to your open plan dining/sitting room and sink into the comfortable sofa bed or tuck into some delicious home cooked food at the dining table which easily seats five people.

The attractive and good sized double bedroom of this Kent holiday cottage has been prettily furnished with a king size bed (can be configured into twin beds, please request at time of booking). A sofa bed in the sitting room sleeps an extra two guests and there is an additional Z-bed available.

A short drive away you can find the Halfway House in Challock, The Flying Horse and The Plough Inn, Stalisfield which offers good hearty food and a sweet garden area. The George Inn at Molash is near too.

The nearest train station to the property is located in the village of Wye. Parking is available at the property next to the barn, with space for two cars. The perfect place for a rural retreat.

Hegdale Barn: sleeps 2 + 2 in 1 double bedroom with king size bed (can be twin) and 1 sofa bed in the sitting room. Open plan sitting/dining room with kitchen seating 6. Private garden with table and chair seating 4+1, BBQ. Parking for two cars. 
The accommodation is all on one level.

Kitchen with fridge freezer, hob & oven, dishwasher, washing machine.  There is seating for 4 + 1 (highchair available on request).

Double bedroom with large king zip bed (sleeps 2), 5’6” wide, (can be configured into twin beds), built-in wardrobe. A travel cot can be provided for another child and/or baby. (An additional single bed for a child can be added to this room, on request).
