With four attractive bedrooms, all of which have ample storage space and two of which are on the ground floor along with the shower room, this lovely seaside home has everything to make it a holiday hot spot for all ages. The large, well-equipped kitchen in the cottage has a dining area large enough to accommodate all guests and is ideal for preparing anything from delicious dinners to rustling up a quick snack for lunch. There is even an American style fridge/freezer, dispensing ice or cold water at the press of a button. From the sitting room of this delightful cottage you have uninterrupted sea views and on a clear day you can not only scan the English coastline, but you can also see France! Why not take advantage of having your own personal viewing gallery from the balcony and watch the ever-changing seascape as it unfolds in front of your eyes? The landscaped courtyard garden and barbecue area is just the place to sit and relax with a good book and a long, cooling drink in the warm sunshine, just listening to the sound of the waves as they lap the shore. If water sports are high on your holiday agenda, then you are in for the holiday of a lifetime! With over two miles of sandy beaches and a glorious bay to enjoy, there is everything from jet skiing to kite boarding and land yachting that takes place along this part of the Kent coast. For younger visitors, there are the traditional seaside interests of swimming or paddling in the sea, building sand castles or burning off their energies in the children's playground next door. Whether dining out or in, you only have to step outside this delightful cottage to find exactly what you want, either from the convenience store across the road or if you can bare to leave the lure of your lovely house, there is a beachside restaurant/tapas bar is less than 100 yards along the road. Greatstone on Sea is a coastal village sandwiched between Littlestone and Lydd. Part of the historic Kent coast-line, Greatstone has long been a popular haunt for those who love the sea, sand and all that it brings with it. The sandy beach at Greatstone is quite flat and stretches from south to north for over two miles, and is frequently 'washed' by the tide of the English Channel. Greatstone beach has long drawn holidaymakers from far and wide. It provides safe sea bathing in the haven of Romney Bay so is a perfect place for families with young children and with miles of fine sand you can build all the castles you want! However it is due to the fresh winds that often occur in Greatstone, together with the flat sandy beach devoid of groynes, that makes the beach popular with a whole range of sports that use the wind. You will find kite surfers on the sea and kite flying, kite boarding, kite buggys and land yachting on the beach, Greatstone is said to be one of the finest land yachting sites in the UK.
