A cosy retreat for two, close to the sea front and only a stones throw from the beach and high street, in the coastal town of Deal. With a plentiful supply of logs for the wood burner, good books, a deck of cards and very comfortable reclining furniture. The kitchen is adequate and well equipped for home cooking for two and the bed is so very comfortable (Why get out of bed in the morning when there's nowhere to go and you have a good book, except to make a cup of tea?). The cottage (and cottage garden that we didn't bask in) are in extraordinarily good condition and the hosts must rank with the best. The welcoming pack was well received too. Thank you Janice and Denis.

Incredibly clean and organised, everything had been thought of. I especially loved the binder with all the information for anything you could think of. Lovely touches like the fresh flowers and wonderful welcome pack were greatly appreciated as well. Janice was very helpful and communicative throughout. I would absolutely come back!

Home from home with all the essentials and thoughtful extras for comfort, this is not accommodation done on the cheap! Even out dietary needs were considered regarding the welcome hamper, which is the best by far we have come across. We had a lovely week in Deal which was made all the better by having Rose Cottage as our base. We thoroughly recommend Rose Cottage and want to say a special thankyou to Janice for her thoughtfulness.
