Farthingales, once known for making 16th & 17th century tailored women’s costumes, now creates memories of a lovely relaxing English holiday in rural Kent. Farthingales barn and stables are located adjacent to each other and together these two make a great pair!

Farthingales offers a great mix of the old and the new. A 500 year old spacious country barn with original features, wonderful exposed beams and high ceilings. Complimented by the converted stables next door offering a modern and bright interior with a gas log fire. All en-suite bedrooms are conveniently located at ground level.

Enjoy watching a classic movie or your favourite programme on the mezzanine floor in the barn, dine together outside or in, relish the fresh air and explore the countryside or visit the local pub.

Enjoy being in the depths of the countryside, a short drive from Canterbury and the sandy beaches of the Kentish coast. Heaven.

Farthingales: Sleeps 7 in 4 bedrooms, 4 en-suite bathrooms, garden area, parking for 4 cars. Farthingales is made up of Farthingales Stables and Farthingales Barn.  
Cottage 1 - Farthingales Stables sleeps 3 in 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (of which 2 are en-suite), garden area, parking for 2 cars. This cottage is located all on ground floor level.

Open plan sitting / dining room with seating for 4, gas wood burner, TV.  Double doors to the garden area.

Single bedroom (sleeps 1), single bed, built-in wardrobe with shelves, french doors opening to front garden area. En-suite shower room with walk-in shower with handrails, overhead shower, basin, W.C.  with handrails. 
Master Bedroom (sleeps 2), king-size bed, built-in wardrobes, en-suite walk-in walled shower with hand rails, basin and W.C. with hand rails.
