Middle Cottage is a lovely, quaint self-catering holiday cottage is situated in the picturesque countryside hamlet of Chislet. Grade II listed with a pretty facade that sits beautifully overlooking serene and endless farmland, and yet within a few miles of Canterbury.
Charmingly furnished with a lovely selection of antique pieces that add to the period feel of this country cottage. A special feature is the cosy sitting room, with Inglenook fireplace and warming log burner; perfect for those romantic winter breaks. Imagine unwinding on one of the large comfortable sofas, whilst enjoying a hot cup of tea in front of the blazing fire. The cute kitchen with all the necessities overlooks a private enclosed courtyard garden that comes alive in the spring with wild lavender scenting the air, perfect for summer BBQs with loved ones.
This cosy country cottage is the perfect place to spend time relaxing, or to enjoy the central location. The cottage is perfectly placed to explore the seasides of Whitstable, Sandwich and Deal and much more of the Kent coast.

Boiler in kitchen was smelly with oil fumes otherwise it was very good - the usual high standard we get from mulberry

We use Middle Cottage at least once a year while visiting family. We especially like the new kitchen and garden room. One point would make our stay even nicer, it would be the ability to open the front bedroom window.
