Snaptrip says

Harbourne Oast is consistently praised for its beautiful setting, ample space, and welcoming hosts. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, cosy rooms, and the property's charm, including a pond with wildlife. The gardens and outdoor areas are highlights, contributing to a peaceful and enjoyable stay. While some guests mention steep stairs and early check-out times, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviews frequently commend the property for its cleanliness. Guests describe the property as 'lovely, clean and well-equipped', indicating a high standard of cleanliness that contributes to the overall experience.

The location is highly praised for its idyllic countryside setting and proximity to local attractions and towns. The peaceful environment, with little traffic noise and scenic views, is frequently mentioned, although the rural setting may mean some farm noises are present.

Comfort is a strong point, with guests finding the property cosy and the beds comfortable. The ample room for large groups and the presence of a 'Grannex' for quieter moments are appreciated. Some guests note the steep stairs and low door frames as minor issues.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge, and outdoor seating. However, some guests mention minor maintenance issues and suggestions for improvement, such as better lighting in the kitchen and additional coffee capsules.

While many reviews express gratitude for the thoughtful touches, such as a welcome hamper and toiletries, there is not enough information to guarantee such gifts for future guests. Therefore, while the hosts' thoughtfulness is evident, it cannot be assured for all stays.

Both properties warm and comfortable. Although the weather was a bit wet, we were able to get out and about to amuse ourselves. Tenterden is a place to visit, lovely little town with plenty of amenities. The only complaint was the holiday was over to soon. Thankyou, may see you again.

  • Hannah

The house is beautiful and cosy. Very clean and lovely touches like the welcome hamper and toiletries.

  • Teodor

It is located in a quiet location and close to Tenterden, by car, and vineyards Kent has got to offer. The cottage is perfect for a large group since you would not feel too crammed due to plenty of space. The cottage is perfectly equipped from kitchen utensils to household items. The fire place in the lounge is a bonus that will make your evenings extra special. The hosts, Zoe and Matt, made us feel very welcome but non intrusive.
