About this property

A wonderful country cottage in the heart of Rolvenden, on the outskirts of Tenterden.

Weavers Cottage is a charming compact rural retreat, presented to a very high standard with lots of personal touches inspired by nature.  The mid terrace cottage is quaint and cosy and is just down the lane from the village church in the heart of Rolvenden.  The cottage retains some original features and has been comfortably refurbished using natural fabrics blended with both rustic and modern textures.  There are two bedrooms, a downstairs shower room and a separate sitting room with a wonderful mural, depicting the wildlife that is reflected in the soft furnishings.  The cottage garden is colourful and relaxing with several areas to sit in depending on the time of day. Rolvenden has a weekly Farmer's Market and a short stroll takes you to the general stores.  The surrounding Kent countryside is perfect for walkers and gardeners alike with Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens and Hole Park right on your doorstep.  What better way of seeing the countryside than a trip on the Kent & Sussex Steam Railway, stopping off at Bodiam Castle and Tenterden with its independent shops and restaurants to explore and enjoy.
