Pippin cottage named after the classic variety of apple, Cox's Orange Pippin, is a classic English cottage which has been beautifully furnished with some glamorous touches.  Set in the midst of the village this sweet little cottage sleeps 2 and has an open fireplace and spacious living area.  Appledore village is on the edge of Romney Marsh and the Royal Military canal, it is very attractive with medieval architecture, a good local pub, village stores, antiques shops and Miss Mollett's high class tearoom! Tenterden with its charming tree lined main street and independent shops is only ten minutes drive and en route it is well worth visiting Chapel Down vineyard for a delicious meal and to sample some award winning English wines. The stunning cinque port of Rye is also just a few miles away with its winding cobbled streets and wonderful artisan shops, restaurants and cafes.  This really is a great location for exploring, with so much choice of how to spend your days within easy reach.  Shop: 20 yards       Pub: 100 yards      Coast: 10 miles
