Lacewood Barn is a stunning, purpose built barn conversion which is set within Fernhill Farm, a peaceful rural location. Close by and within easy reach is the popular town of Ryde and its surrounding beaches.

Externally, the patio and enclosed rear garden can be accessed through double doors in the living area and features a table and four chairs, ideal for dining al fresco.
For a range of amenities the town of Wootton with its shops and pubs is just a few minutes' walk away. The Lakeside Hotel and Spa is close to the farm. Fernhill Farm guests receive a 20% discount off the spa treatments available at the hotel. The nearby Sloop Inn is a carvery style pub with lovely views from the garden.
Alternatively, the popular seaside town of Ryde is a short drive away. Ryde is the largest town on the island and boasts miles of golden sandy beaches and an abundance of shops, restaurants, bars and attractions.

We had a fabulous weekend at Lacewood Barn, the accommodation and facilities were excellent, and the owners could not have been more helpful. It was so nice to be able to bring our dog, the garden was very secure, but yet the barn showed no evidence of doggy wear and tear. Lovely countryside for walks outside the front door, and a short drive to beaches. We loved the welcoming cake and wine which was well received after the journey with kids. Great weekend, we will definitely look to stay here again.

After a few years of illness - a much needed holiday needed booking. I searched on the web and went to IOW as this is where we longed to go albeit a long journey for us from Bedfordshire. I spied Blue Chip which to me meant good quality and found the Fernhill Hill barns and promptly booked Lacewood Barn. On arrival Karl and Karen Brown were there to meet us who were so welcoming and were on hand for anything we needed and provided welcome goodies which were much appreciated. We found our surroundings were perfect for our much needed rest, lovely woodland walks for us and our dog. The accommodation was first class which included a large garden for our dog to run in. The village was close by and had everything you would need. The barn was within easy reach of all attractions on the island. We have returned home feeling much better and will be returning at some point.

Fernhill Farm is the ideal holiday location. Set in a quiet, peaceful location but with quick and easy access to the other areas of the island. Great accommodation, exactly what you need for a relaxing break. Highly recommended.
