Bright, spacious and modern, Seagrass is a contemporary bungalow in an elevated position above Ventnor, yet only five minutes’ stroll from cafes, bars and shops. Step into the open-plan living, kitchen and dining space and you’re immediately struck by breathtaking180-degree sea views. Binoculars are provided to help you spot sailing boats and cruise ships, fishing vessels and passing ferries.

There’s a Smart TV with Netflix and a Sound Bar with Bluetooth to keep the family entertained. Bi- fold doors open straight onto the south-facing balcony, a spectacular indoor-outdoor space for meals, all-day sunbathing or sipping an evening sun-downer.

Seagrass is a unique and private place to chill after long walks along the coast path. Choose from three outdoor spaces: the private, sea-facing, landscaped garden with a barbeque patio – enclosed and safe for children and a dog – a separate G&T terrace, or the decking which extends from the living room, facing south for day-long sunshine.

The master bedroom’s been designed with those views firmly in mind, and massive picture  windows mean the sight of the sea will greet you when you wake up. The second bedroom is equipped with zip and link beds, which can be set up as twins or a king size bed to suit your needs.

Set in the Victorian seaside resort of Ventnor, Seagrass is perfect for families keen to enjoy the attractions of the Isle of Wight. Ventnor Beach is just ten minutes’ walk away, and with red shingle and golden sands, Ventnor is all about traditional beach huts and fluttering deck chairs. It’s an easy walk to the beauty spot of Steephill Cove for a gourmet lunch of local fresh crab. Some of the Wight’s most popular eateries are five minutes from the house, and you’ll find vintage shops and antique stores too.
