This 17th century Inn serves locally sourced, homemade food and have a fine selection of real ale beers.West Wight is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is the ideal spot for catching a glimpse of the local wildlife, walking or just enjoying the beautiful countryside. From here take a visit to one of the Islands many attractions including Freshwater Bay, Alum Bay’s famous coloured cliffs or the Needles, one of Britain’s most famous landscapes.

Enjoyed a long weekend with a couple of friends in this lovely cottage. Very well equipped, spacious, and finished to a high quality. Pub across the road serves great food, and if you want to leave the car behind, the bus stop is right outside the door.

A very nice house that proved most suitable to our needs. We encountered friendly, helpful people on arrival plus a superb hamper. I have the impression it is a very eco friendly establishment, which is good, but a dishwasher wouldn't go amiss! The property has a delightful garden & stream & it would have been nice to have a couple of comfy garden chairs for when one doesn't want to be out & about. We were very satisfied & had a lot of fun. We would love to come back!
