Shanklin caters to all tastes and offers everything you need to have an amazing holiday.  From the esplanade lined with traditional seaside games, amusements, cafes, restaurants and pubs, to the famous Shanklin Chine, and the Old Village with its thatched tea rooms, and unique gift shops to a choice of popular water sports. Lounge on the sandy beach or find a tranquil spot to soak up the sunshine in one of the parks and gardens.

    Number 9 Victoria Avenue was fantastic very comfortable and kitted out with all you need and more. The apartment is situated in the town of Shanklin near to shops and lots of places to eat, walking distance to the beach.

    9 Victoria Avenue provided us with a brilliant base for a fantastic Easter break in Shanklin. As a family of 4 with a 6 yr old and an 8 yr old we appreciated the great location - everything is walkable from the apartment. Krystele was lovely and even offered an early check in since no-one had stayed the week before and we were on an early ferry. Accommodation was warm, clean, stylish and spacious. Our son loved the added luxury of a PS3! A great choice for a couple of small family.

    Number 9 is much more spacious that it appears in the images online; the pictures don't do it justice. The master bedroom has a huge bed and the kids loved the beds in their room; they actually said goodbye to them when we left. They also liked the PlayStation. Being located so close to the centre of Shanklin you can walk everywhere in the town including the beach negating the need to find parking spaces which are in short supply. The owner met us to hand over the key and explain how the facilities worked (jacuzzi bath, heating etc) and a welcome package was included meaning we could have refreshments after our journey without going in search of milk which was much appreciated. We've stayed in Shanklin six times and have always been happy with the properties but we agree that this is the best property of them all.
