As you walk around the cottage, you are transported to another time. It is filled with amazing vintage books and games, along with original features. This is a perfect place to create wonderful memories. Sage Cottage also has a modern touch, with WiFi and Freeview TV available. You enter the small hallway, with the stairs directly ahead of you, then to your right the sitting room has ample seating. From here is the dining room with. This is a lovely room to relax in whilst enjoying a refreshing drink, afternoon tea or playing a game of cards or Monopoly. Continue through to the contemporary, fitted kitchen, enhanced with the original wooden windows and original pine floors and doors, and to the left of the kitchen is the modern bathroom. Outside is a lovely walled cottage garden with flowerbeds and a long straight lawn; made for playing a game of boules or miniature croquet. Ryde is the perfect destination for seeing the whole island, with great transport links available. Sage Cottage is ideal for a car-free holiday as its just an eight minute walk to the nearest railway station, Ryde St Johns Road. Everywhere is close by; as you make your way down to the shoreline you will pass many cafés, restaurants, pubs and antique shops. Walking along the esplanade you will see the marina, boating lake, Waterside swimming pool with lido and sauna, as well as the beautiful beach. Whilst on the Isle of Wight, visit Osbourne House, Carisbrooke Castle or Quarr Abbey, ride on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, or take a stroll around Ventnors Botanical Gardens. Sage Cottage is a delightful base for exploring the island, at any time of the year.
Ryde is the largest town on the Isle of Wight and offers plenty of things to see and do for all ages, including a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants, along with six miles of sandy beaches. Also along the esplanade there are bowling greens, an ice rink, tenpin bowling, putting greens and childrens rides, as well as a boating lake and paddling pool.

There is parking available in the upper half of the street before 6am and after 8pm Monday to Saturday and all day Sunday.
There is also additional parking in neighbouring streets.
