Shorefield Country Park has so much to offer from 100 acres of beautiful parkland, amazing entertainment and facilities, top accommodation including lodges with hot tubs and pet friendly offerings. There is something here for everybody!
Facilities are outstanding from the indoor and outdoor pools manned by trained lifeguards, to play areas for children of all ages and abilities. Plus a mix of wildlife walks, forest dens, fitness centre, Beech Bar for over 18’s, Tides Bar and Grill (including a pet friendly area) and Cyrils’ Snake Shack.
The entertainment teams at Shorefield are a very friendly bunch who love nothing more than making sure your holiday is fun-filled and full of lively entertainment to help you make memories to treasure. Loads of space for wheelchair users . Good sized bedrooms . Excellent wetroom

Only disappointments were the small bunk beds and the extensive cobwebs on the exterior. We were a party of 4 adults (one of whom is disabled by MND) so the small cramped room with the bunk beds was difficult. We are 2 brothers, 1 sister and her son). However my disabled brother loved the ease of getting around not only the lodge but the grounds which were very wheelchair friendly - and the weekend was all about him. Even though he didn't sleep (on a mattress on the floor) he has said several times he'd like to return - as would we all. One other point is, I was told the beach is 800m away and wheelchair friendly to the beach - it really isn't as you have to cross a road without ramps and then descend very narrow steep steps. It's also at least a 20 minute walk. Having said all of that we thought the country park was great with good facilities and would look to book the same lodge again. Thank you for enabling my wheelchair bound brother a relatively easy break.

A reclining chair would be comfortable for disabled guests as sofa was quite low and other chair was uncomfortable
