Guests say

Tile Cottage in Lymington offers a unique and well-equipped stay with friendly neighbours and excellent proximity to town centre, marina, and the New Forest. Guests appreciate the quiet area, comfortable beds, and easy access. Some minor maintenance issues and cleanliness oversights were noted, but overall, the property provides a pleasant experience with a homely feel and good amenities.

The property was generally found to be clean, though there were comments about an unclean oven, shelves, and a pan upon arrival. The outdoor decking area also required attention. However, other areas were satisfactory.

The location is highly praised for its quietness, proximity to local shops, the high street, and easy access to the New Forest and coast. The convenience of the location is a standout feature.

Guests found the beds very comfortable and the property quiet, contributing to a restful stay. The presence of multiple bedrooms and living spaces adds to the overall comfort.

The property is well-equipped, but some guests noted the absence of instructions for appliances and rubbish collection. Minor maintenance issues like non-working lights and a blind were mentioned. WiFi strength varied across the property.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the owner towards the guests, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Good parking and a quiet area with comfort. A short walk to the town from the alleyway at the end of the road is with the dog through the church yard is ideal except for Squirrels

The cottage was very nice and the garden too . my only negative comment is that the decking area and furniture in the central sun area of the house could do with a good clean up as the decking was slippery in places and furniture a bit grubby . Also the velux ceiling blind in the back bedroom wasn't working so awake very early with sun beaming in . The beds were very comfy though I do own a cleaning company so I'm pretty hot on cleaning / hygiene and found everything else was good and would be happy to book again .
