It is close to the historic town of Mayfield which has shops and pubs and is in a great located for visiting lots of interesting attractions including Sheffield Park, the Bluebell Railway, Pashley Manor (famous for its annual Tulip Festival) and it's only a 20 minute drive to Royal Tunbridge Wells.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the comfort and atmosphere of this reasonably priced property. The owners have gone above and beyond what we would have expected, with so many complementary extras eg. biscuits, bread, eggs and a nice garden to sit in to boot. Gorgeous views and two lovely horses in the field opposite. Such a comfortable bed. Loads to see in the area, do visit beautiful Sheffield Park. The Apartment is highly and gratefully recommended.

Lovely comfortable accommodation. Really appreciated welcome pack, made them feel very at home. Bottle of wine, biscuits, milk and bread and jam was a really lovely touch. Beautiful views across paddocks and grazing horses. Very reasonable price for what you got. Very pleased with the stay. Very comfortable beds

The Appartment I stayed at “The Appartment” for 11nights recently,just wanting to change environments. It was a reasonable price & a charming place to be.The owners were very thoughtful in leaving 6 Burford Brown eggs(which were delicious),a lovely fruit bowl,assorted little chocolates dotted around the place & a few other things which I hadn’t expected.There was even a bed for the dog,a bowl & a box of doggie treats.It was situated in Hadlow Down,East Sussex,so peaceful,but vey close to other places to visit.I had a wonderful meal at the “Middle House Hotel”(in fact the best lunch since I’ve been back in the UK ) The accommodation is perfect for a couple,comfortable(especially the bed),nicely appointed & cosy. I would thoroughly recommend the cottage for a short refreshing break
