A superb, on the edge of the forest retreat, perfect for walkers and cyclists with direct access to the Ashdown Forest and only a short walk to the local pub.

The Garden Cottage offers a fantastic base for exploring the High Weald area of outstanding natural beauty with access to the Ashdown Forest right from the property.  Inside, the property has been carefully styled and finished to a very high standard with everything you would expect from a self-catering property.  There is a spacious open plan living area, a modern kitchen and a separate bedroom with a comfy king-size bed and en-suite shower room.  The cottage was originally a tuck shop in the grounds of a small school and has a decked area with outside seating and additional seating to the rear of the cottage, with direct access into the Forest. Ashdown Forest is also renowned as the home of Christopher Robin and Winnie the Pooh. The Forester's Arms pub is only 0.5 miles away with shopping in nearby Uckfield (8 miles away) and a main line station with an hourly service to London.  There are many interesting historic houses, castles and gardens nearby to explore as  well as the Bluebell Railway at Sheffield Park.
