We booked this holiday let hoping for a nice relaxing stay and did not get one chiefly because of the excessive and often very fast traffic from very early in the morning until very late at night. The map on the Kent & Sussex Holiday Cottages website does show a road but there is no indication or warning given of road noise.. We have rented many holiday lets over the years but never found one like this. It was a hot week but we felt we could not open windows because of the traffic noise. We were unable to enjoy the terrace. We got very little sleep and decided to leave.

We had a nice four days break at the Old Chapel. The location is amazing, surrounded by beautiful fields and lovely nature. The landlords are amazing too; it was a pleasure meeting Helen on our first day of arrival, she made us feel welcome and at home. I haven't met Neil, but my three boys did while playing at the fields, he was feeding his flock of sheeps, they have been given a chance to pet and feed the baby lambs. The house has every thing you need, the BBQ area at the side garden is a big plus. We have just left today and we miss it already. Will definitely be coming again. Five stars from us.
