A stylish mid-terrace property, Flint Beach House has everything you could need for your trip to the Sussex coast. On entering you find modern, light and spacious accommodation. The living area has comfortable seating with a large sofa and armchairs and patio doors that lead to the enclosed terrace. There is Freeview television, a DVD player and Wifi available for evening entertainment. The fully fitted kitchen is well appointed with conveniences including a fridge, freezer, oven, hob and washer/ dryer and there is a comfortable dining table for four in the lounge area. There is also a convenient ground floor cloakroom with WC and basin.

The principal bedroom is at the rear of the property on the first floor with stunning views over to Seaford Head which you can appreciate via the Juliet balcony. There is a king size bed and an en suite waterfall shower room for your convenience. The second bedroom is a twin room, also with a Juliet balcony. The family bathroom is spacious and bright with a full bath and shower attachment available.

The enclosed patio is provided with outside furniture and a BBQ with playing greens behind and views to Seaford Head beyond.

There is off street parking for one car provided to the front of the property.

Seaford and beyond

Flint Beach House is located just metres from Seaford Head which offer fabulous cliff top walks towards Cuckmere Haven and the Seven Sisters, one of the most recognisable views in England.Below this you will find Seaford beach with its Kittiwake colony and Italian coffee kiosk and a wide open unspoilt beach good for dog friendly walks.

Cuckmere Haven is an area of flood plains where the South Downs meets the English Channel offering dramatic views of the Seven Sisters – towering white chalk cliffs that drop sheer into the sea. It is popular for a number of outdoor activities including birdwatching, cycling and canoeing. You can also easily reach Beachy Head at Eastbourne or go rock pooling at Birling Gap from here all of which are highlight in our Places to Visit section on East Sussex.

For golf lovers the links course at Seaford Head, which you can see from the main bedroom in Flint Beach House, is both challenging and stunning in its setting. This part of East Sussex is where the South Downs meet the sea en route to Beachy Head to the east.

Four miles inland from Seaford is the beautiful village of Alfriston which is surrounded by the Wealden South Downs and the South Downs Way passes through the centre of this historical village. Around the village, visitors can enjoy the famous St Andrews church and Alfriston Clergy House, a National Trust property, which offers delightful gardens and lovely views across the Downs. The village hosts many events throughout the year including the Alfriston festival and Farmers markets.

Award winning Drusillas Park is a fifteen minute drive from Flint Beach House and is a great family day out that includes a small zoo where you can come face to face with hundreds of exotic animals from monkeys and meerkats to penguins and pandas. There are also a multitude of rides and experiences to keep the little ones entertained including Hello Kitty and Thomas the Tank Engine rides and the Eden's Eye Maze.

Other attractions close by for your enjoyment include Glyndebourne, with internationally renowned concerts and plays performed throughout the year, and Firle Place which is an outstanding privately owned country house in Sussex that dates from the time of Henry viii. The house, gardens and notable collection of works of art and porcelain are of national importance and are well worth viewing.
