Complete with a luxurious hot tub, and patio seating area, which looks out to the beautiful Sussex countryside. There is also a covered, paved veranda. Internally, enjoy the exposed beams, vaulted ceilings, galleried landing, a cosy log burner and the solid oak extendable table in the dining room comfortably seats 8. Situated in its own grounds on a working 56-acre family run farm, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty along the Weald Way and head of the Cuckmere Valley, it is the perfect location for exploring the South Downs Country Park, The High Weald and the beautiful sunshine coast either by car, cycling or walking. Guests are welcome to meet the farms residents which include donkeys, ponies, rare breed pigs, pygmy goats, pedigree flocks of Lleyn and Ryeland sheep, and also assist with feeding the free range poultry and pigs. During the summer months, guests can join a Forest School session (additional charge by arrangement). Visit Farleys House and Gallery (open Sundays between April and October), home of surrealist photographer Lee Miller and artist Roland Penrose. Cycle or walk the picturesque Cuckoo Trail – the former Cuckoo Line railway track that runs from Heathfield to Eastbourne Park. Drusillas Zoo Park, Herstmonceux Observatory Science Centre and the beautiful Michelham Priory and Gardens make for great days out. The coast at Eastbourne is approximately a 20 minute drive and Brighton a 35-minute drive. Fishing and golf are available locally. Catering by arrangement, and the farm provides local produce. Beach 10 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
