Enjoy this superb top floor Hove holiday apartment — outstanding views, sunrises and sunsets over the city
This superb third floor apartment offers wonderful panoramic views over the rooftops of Brighton and Hove. Situated in a period and traditional Hove townhouse in a tree lined avenue it is within 200 metres of the seafront promenade and very central for the many shops and restaurants of Hove.
The Roof Terrace faces both east and west with a terrace outlook in both directions. It feels wonderfully quiet and private up here yet benefits from having so much locally on the doorstep. The living room and kitchen face west taking in the views across Hove and towards the South Downs in the distance. The room is bright and compact but with its full length terrace feels remarkably spacious. The two bedrooms face east catching the morning sunrise over Brighton in some style. The small terrace off the main bedroom makes a great place to enjoy a summer breakfast.
The principal bedroom is made up as a double room but has a zip linked bed that can be made into twin beds if required. The second bedroom has a double bed. There is a family bathroom with bath and shower attachment above.
Parking is available on the road using parking vouchers and is charged at either £5 per day or £25 per week. These parking vouchers need to be purchased in advance, please let us know if you wish to add this onto your booking. Alternatively there is a public pay and display car park opposite Hove Town Hall where the daily rate is approximately £5.20.
We regret that the apartment is not suitable for families with children under six years of age.
Hove and beyond
Some argue Hove is the posh part of Brighton but we certainly would not want to be drawn on that one! As a city Brighton and Hove come together. The wide and pleasant promenade of Hove is always full of activity from walkers to cyclists, families and friends playing ball games on the green, to the many who choose to relax in front of their colourful beach huts. The beach is certainly that little quieter here than neighbouring Brighton yet the walk between the two is seamless. Hove has its own centre, is the home of the Sussex county cricket ground, a short walk from the apartment and offers a wide choice of independent shops and restaurants.
Overall Brighton and Hove is one of the most vibrant, colourful and creative cities you will find. It is cosmopolitan, compact, and energetic — it's a city like no other.
Nestling between the South Downs and the sea on the stunning south coast, Brighton offers everything from Regency heritage to beachfront cool. It offers a fantastic mix of iconic attractions, famed nightlife, award winning restaurants, funky arts, culture and year round festivals and events. Its two most famous attractions are probably the Royal Pavilion, the spectacular seaside palace of the Prince Regent (George IV) and ‘Brighton Pier' with its Victorian history and period and modern entertainment. The centre of Brighton is less than two miles from the Roof Terrace.
Close by the famous ‘Lanes' historic quarter is an intricate maze of twisting alleyways, offering an extraordinary mix of history and heritage lingering amidst the antique, jewellery, boutique fashion and design shops.
A recent addition on the shoreline and right next to both the pier and the Sea Life Centre is the Brighton Ferris Wheel. A trip on the 45 metre (197 foot) wheel is a must, offering fabulous views over the city and beyond to the South Downs as well as a great outlook along the coast especially towards Rottingdean and Beachy Head.
The South Downs provide a magnificent backdrop to Hove and in the summer can easily be reached by bus from Brighton Pier. Devil's Dyke is one of the famous landmarks on the South Downs Way and although the Dyke is actually a V shaped valley the tourist attraction that bears its name at the top offers outstanding views across the Sussex Weald and westwards along the line of the Downs towards Truleigh Hill and Chanctonbury Ring. It is an area that is popular with both hang gliders and para gliders so is often buzzing with activity.

Great service. Polite, prompt and efficient - called up last minute and all sorted within seconds with a return call. Definitely recommend to others.Great apartment in a great location. Even though we were 2 miles from the centre of Brighton it was an easy and enjoyable walk. Would love to visit Brighton again and would stay in the same place.
