This cosy mid-terrace period cottage is in the heart of Watchet close to the West Somerset Steam Railway, harbour and marina. This well-loved holiday home offers deceptively spacious accommodation set over three floors and is beautifully furnished in a modern style with a partly nautical theme. The open plan sitting and dining room provides a good space for friends and family to eat together or relax in front of the TV after a day on the beach. The large fitted galley kitchen has an interesting mosaic tiled floor, is well-equipped to cook for the family and has a useful utility room with breakfast bar, plus ample space for bike storage or for drying boots or wet suits. On the first floor there are two cosy double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, as well as a cloakroom, however please note that each double bed can only be accessed from one side. From the first floor landing stairs lead to the second floor with a single room, a twin bedroom with feature exposed roof timbers and a family bathroom. Outside this lovely cottage, there is a small enclosed courtyard where you can unwind with a cup of coffee whilst planning the next day’s activities. Take a gentle stroll from the cottage down to the harbour and quaint shops or, for the more energetic, there are plentiful walks along the coastline towards the seaside village of Blue Anchor and its long promenade lined with fishermen. A short drive to the medieval village of Dunster is certainly worthwhile, with its cobbled streets abundant with cafes and gift shops. The popular resort of Minehead, with golden sandy beaches and plenty of activities on the traditional seafront is, again, only a short drive away. A cosy cottage in the heart of a busy seaside harbour town.

Watchet is a little coastal town in Somerset, with interesting shops and a marina. The West Somerset Railway passes through the village towards Minehead. Wonderful walks can be enjoyed both along the coast and in the surrounding countryside. The seaside resort of Minehead is 9 miles away, home to a sandy beach and golf course.
