The ground floor is complete with a well-equipped kitchen with stylish wooden worktops and everything you could need for a weekend break.Up the traditional, cottage style narrow stairs takes you up to a comforting, cosy first floor with a homely master bedroom bosting a picturesque view of the Washford River as well as a separate, large dressing room. To the front of the property there is a delightful patio area with plenty of seating. The local pub and village shop are both less than a minutes’ walk away but Belle Vue is also well placed to explore the many walking routes on Exmoor including The Mineral Line and Coleridge Way which both pass by the cottage. Close by is the Cistercian Abbey of Cleeve, a haven of peace and tranquillity, where visitors can catch a glimpse of monastic life over 800 years ago. The harbour village of Watchet is only a short drive with with quirky shops, a steam railway and boat rides to enjoy. Dunster is just 5 miles away and is home to a fantastic castle, and the beaches at Minhead are just a further 3 miles away. A typical, traditional cottage set in an amazing location.

Roadwater is a Somerset village on the edge of Exmoor National Park. The village offers a shop and a pub and is an ideal base for enjoying this beautiful area. The harbour village of Watchet is just 5 miles away, with quaint shops to browse, the steam railway to enjoy and boats bobbing about on the harbour. Visit Dunster and explore the dramatic castle, or head to the sandy beach at Minehead for a traditional day by the sea. Head inland to the Quantocks and to enjoy miles ofwalking.
