… with absorbing views over Minehead quay and harbour and ½ mile from the town centre, a smart, renovated 17th cent. terraced cottage with lots of original features over three floors. To the front, small sunny patio (bench) beside the parking area, good for observing harbour life.
Porch. Cosy living room with huge inglenook fireplace (ornamental) and TV/DVD. Good-sized fitted kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, microwave) with farmhouse-style pine table/chairs/bench and window seat from which to enjoy the view. Steep, twisting wooden stairs (rope rail) up to two bedrooms with harbour views – a double, and a twin with en suite loo (washbasin). More steep and winding stairs (rope rail) up to the top floor with another twin bedroom and huge bathroom (suite plus hand-shower and separate shower, washing machine). Part way up the stairs to the top floor is a door to a small enclosed roof terrace. Parking for one small car; permit for alternative harbour parking provided. A delightful cottage with interesting waterside views; not suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties.

"The cottage was very comfortable, particularly pillows and mattresses. Location was exactly as we wanted - close to harbour - and with a sea/harbour view from every window. Recently decorated and with new carpets. Floors uneven but not unusual in a property of this type. 10 mins stroll to town. Overall, a very nice old cottage."

"A lovely well equipped cottage by the harbour. It was very clean and there were ample instructions. The stairs are very steep but you get used to them after a while. Certainly keeps you fit going to the top floor to the bathroom! The patio at the front of the property is fab for watching life go by with a glass of wine in the evening. But it is very open so be prepared to say 'hello' to most people walking by! I would recommend this property for visiting the surrounding areas of interest."
