The property offers the perfect blend of peace and quiet with easy access to many amenities and attractions. Walk out the front door and the sound of birdsong and nothing else is striking - a true countryside idyll. Yet the market town of Taunton is no more than 2 miles away, offering a wide range of retail and dining options, along with a theatre and multi-screen theatre.
The Quantock Hills are also on the doorstep; the first designated Area of Natural Beauty in England and are ideal for more energetic visitors including walkers and cyclists. Also in the area are the West Somerset Railway, Hestercombe Gardens and for younger visitors, the Fun Farm. Despite it's central location in Somerset, the coastline is only 15 miles away, while Exeter, Glastonbury and Yeovil are all easily driveable.
Robins Lodge is perfectly placed with easy access by rail or road. It is within 10 minutes of Taunton’s mainline rail station (London Paddington 1 hour 40 mins), and major road links (M5 Junction 24 & 25).

Thank you for your wonderful holiday lodge and fabulous hospitality! We have all really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come again! We loved the space, cosiness, top class furnishings and high standard. You both made my family and I really welcome and helped us to have a great and relaxing holiday. Wall to wall sunshine too! I love this home so much and I come the cycling my bike was amazing and the fishing was lovely too!! Thank you! I will never forget this holiday!

We all loved the lodge, lovely location. We were here for a family wedding at Hestercombe Gardens which is very close by. Of all the family down for the wedding we had the best accommodation! Everyone wished they had booked a lodge too! Everything we could have needed was here. Plenty space for 6 adults. We have had a fantastic stay. Thank you very much! Even all the rain didn’t spoil our time here! Hopefully going home to sunshine.xx

Found an ideal retreat for a relaxing holiday in Robins Nest. The accommodation was excellent and suited all 3 couples with enough space for everyone and the bonus of having individual bathrooms. The family hosts Chris, Suzanne & Grandad were all very helpful and the cakes and biscuits from them were extremely grateful. We were lucky enough to be around to watch Flycatcher being built. Weather was actually good whilst and we had plenty of trips to local Cider Farms. Both dogs made very welcome. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back. Thank you.
