Snaptrip says

Guests have had a delightful experience at The Old Bull Stall, praising its idyllic location, cleanliness, and the warm hospitality of the owners. The property offers a peaceful countryside retreat with proximity to local attractions and amenities. While most found the cottage comfortable and well-equipped, a few noted the living area seating and older appliances could be improved. The thoughtful touches like homemade flapjack and fresh milk were appreciated, although not consistently mentioned by all guests.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage consistently receives high remarks for cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'very clean' and 'well looked after,' indicating meticulous maintenance by the owners.

The location is highly praised for its beautiful countryside setting and convenience for exploring Somerset, Wiltshire, and Dorset, as well as being close to local amenities and attractions.

Comfort receives a slightly lower score due to mixed reviews. While many guests found the cottage cosy and the setting relaxing, some noted the living area seating was not as comfortable as desired, particularly for longer stays.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the property providing everything needed for a stay. However, there are suggestions for upgrades, particularly regarding the cooker and lounge furniture, which slightly affect the score.

The owners are commended for their thoughtfulness, with mentions of welcome treats like flapjack, milk, and eggs. It's important to note that while these gestures are appreciated, they may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

Just what we wanted a peaceful retreat away from the busy World. As our first holiday in 4 years, due to family ill-health, this was just perfect. We were made to feel so welcome and an added bonus were the furry residents, for us two who are total animal people! Thank you so much to all for making this a long-awaited holiday to remember.

Comfortable and clean. Short walk up the quiet lane to the park, and very central to many places. We had wonderful days out everyday and felt not far from anything, even both north and south coastlines.
