Accommodation was immaculately clean. Bedrooms were spacious and beds really comfortable. Plenty of wardrobe space. Nice powerful shower in the ensuite and full size bath with overhead shower in the main bathroom. Lounge/diner was spacious and the 2 sofas were very comfortable. Large tv screen including Netflix and wifi. The kitchen had everything you needed if you wanted to cook a full meal. What was really handy was the separate utility room for washing. The verandah was south facing so we had the sunshine from breakfast until watching the sunset over the Mendip Hills. There was a bottle of wine and box of chocolates left in the fridge which was a really nice touch.

Beautiful lodge immaculately clean although previous guests left an empty bottle of vodka and a packet of tights hidden on top of the main bedroom wardrobe!! Was this a test for the cleaners??
