Steep stairs up to a spacious double bedroom (6’ bed) and bathroom (suite plus bath-shower). No children. A delightfully cosy cottage, conveniently placed for visiting Bath and with walks from the doorstep.

"Very nice location. Lovely village and lots to see in the area. But the house is not suitable for elderly people (dangerous stairs). i'm afraid we did not feel welcome as we have at other cottages. There was no personal advice on the area, we had to find out by ourselves how everything works in the house. lots of locked cupboards made us feel unwelcome. The lady in charge did not bother to see us in, but let the keys outside, although she was at home. On the whole, we had a good time, but did not fleet home in the cottage. (And we could not make proper coffee, as there were no coffee-making facilities)"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Springfield Cottage and would recommend it as a cosy and relaxing place to stay. We appreciated the general peace and quiet of the location; only a handful of vehicles passed the house over our entire stay, the lane seeming to be used more by walkers and cyclists. There is no parking at the property itself but we had no trouble parking just up the lane where HH had directed and there was always plenty of space. There is an extremely well stocked farm shop (Farley Farm Shop) just outside the village, for newspapers and provisions, (the village shop has closed). The area is absolutely beautiful and we want to return to explore further. We hope Springfield Cottage will be available to work its magic on us once again! "
