...surroundings. Pepper's lodge was spacious, clean and had all the facilities that we needed. We were close to the brilliant Cider Barn (highly recommended) and yet we were very private and enjoyed peace and quiet. It was wonderful to sit in the hot tub in the evening and watch the sun set over the mendip hills. We would be very happy to come back. Submitted by Charlotte on 07/08/2016

...long weekend (Friday until Monday). The directions and instructions sent by email were excellent and lead us straight to the property. Spaces for 2 cars was adjacent to the property, with additional spaces within 20 meters. The property has all the furnishings required for our stay. It was as if someone actually lived here, well fitted out and very clean. Linen and towels were provided, actually everything we needed was somewhere in the lodge, including a pair of umbrellas (not required during our stay). The WiFi had an excellent range and was fast, playing cards, games, dvds all onsite. The Jacuzzi was very clean and hot ready for immediate use. This was maintained by Mike early every morning so that it was in pristine condition for use during the day. Mike is a very welcoming and accommodating host. The Cider Barn was 30 feet away and provides a relaxing chilled out 'barn pub' environment to taste the local ciders and standard beers. The food here is excellent wholesome pub food, locally made and fresh. Jason is an excellent host together with his team who provide a friendly relaxed experience. Visited the barn on the first night, and basically didn't want to spend our evenings anywhere else other than here right on our doorstep. Ideal place for anyone who wants a quiet clean well equipped break. Definitely coming back to this 'gem of summerset' again this year and hopefully many more to come. Thoroughly enjoyed my first every Blue Chip holiday - Thanks guys / girls ! Submitted by Andrew on 16/06/2016
