Outside, views extend over the rocky crags of the Stiperstones and the Shropshire Plain and there is a large enclosed lawn where little ones and pets can run off energy, and everyone can simply sit and relax together whilst taking in the beauty of the surroundings. The small village of Hope, less than a mile away, has two pubs, one of which serves food and guest ales. A short drive away are the thriving villages of Minsterley and Pontesbury providing a good selection of further amenities including an award-winning butcher and bakery, and Pontesford Hill, Eastridge Woods, the Long Mynd and the Stiperstones offer stunning views, circular walking routes and many cross-country trails for all mountain biking abilities. The thriving village of Minsterley lies in the beautiful Shopshire Hills, just 10 miles from the medieval town of Shrewsbury. Minsterley boasts a pub, one of the oldest buildings in the village, a shop and Post Office and an excellent fish and chip shop! This lovely village is the perfect touring spot for your Shropshire adventure.

If peace and privacy is what you seek this is the perfect location. Our charming host provided us with everything we needed to make the delightful Barn a really cosy castle during a very wet and cold spell. The garden was expansive and totally dog friendly and secure which allowed us complete peace of mind whilst our Bumble was out enjoying his domain. So many picturesque and interesting places to visit. Thank you

The secure and enclosed garden was wonderful for our dog, being able to open the door for him, knowing he was safe at all times was such a treat The barn was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay, including plenty of logs for the log burner and a delicious home made lemon drizzle cake, thank you Anna The property is very quiet and set remotely at the top of a long drive, the views of the surrounding countryside are amazing, even though it was a bit wet and windy we spent time sitting outside with a cuppa soaking up the tranquility. There is a local pub - The Stables which was a 10 minute walk from the property which is very cosy with an open fire and a varied menu, we would recommend the home made pies This was our first visit to Shropshire, Im sure without doubt we will return in the future
