Ludlow, with its castle and timbered buildings, is a lovely town for a stroll and a refreshing cream tea, or step back in time with a trip to Acton Scott Working Farm, seen on TV as âThe Victorian Farm'.

The property was clean and tidy in the right areas however did show signs of having had a long hard summer season but overall what a great place we all would highly recommend a stay.

Perfect location for visiting Llangollen, Ludlow, Shrewsbury and Birmingham. Many more attractions locally too. Local hostelries are brilliant too, especially the Yockleton Arms. The facilities at the Sheep Shed were superb including a large hot tub. We had the chance to look at other properties on the site and they were equally well appointed, including a huge unit sleeping up to 14 people. Our hosts could not do enough for us, including advice for our then pregnant and very near term daughter about facilities locally if she could not make it to Walsall. We since have a beautiful granddaughter who will be coming with us next time as we will certainly be going back.

They loved the hot tub! My parents had a wonderful stay as well, perfect for three generations under one roof.
