Head upstairs to reveal the other immaculate bedroom; this twin room hosts a fabulous porthole window overlooking the town. You will also find the wonderful open-plan living area with high-quality furnishings and everything that you will need during your visit here at The Carriage House. Step out of the door and take a few short steps to the nearest amenities, places to eat, drink and shop, which are impossible to miss. Shrewsbury is full of fascinating things to see and do, including a visit to the Abbey that was built in 1083 and to its magnificent castle. For a dose of breathtaking natural beauty, the Shropshire Hills AONB are just 13 miles away with its almost endless walking and cycling trails, along with the pretty Church Stretton, both of which provide an excellent day out. A divine little spot, perfect for exploring this incredible area of Shropshire.
Shrewsbury lies in the loop of the River Severn, one of England's heritage towns. Explore the alleys and squares, enjoy events and festivals. The town offers independent and high street shops along with cafés, bars, restaurants and pubs. Shrewsbury also boasts the Abbey and Shrewsbury Castle houses the Shropshire Regimental Museum.

The communications from Karen the owner were timely and helpful,and the scones absolutely delicious. Also very helpful to have two front door keys, which is quite unusual for holiday lets. The house had everything we needed, the kitchen, bathrooms and furnishings are immaculate and everything iwas spotless. Although it has a central location there was no noticeable noise so we had a peaceful and stress-free stay. Thank you Karen.

Our first visit was in 2019 and since then we have stayed many times and it has never failed to impress. It has everything anyone could wish for including its own parking space directly in front of the property, almost unheard of in Shrewsbury. Communication with Karen was straightforward and instant and we were delighted with the basket of goodies that were nicely displayed on our arrival. Once again thank you so much, Karen. The Carriage House is the best holiday accommodation we have stayed in and we shall definitely be returning to what we now call âour second homeâ!
