Basics in the kitchen were all there, along with a small milk carton, so we could have a cup of tea without having to bring our own or go shopping immediately, which was lovely. Some noise at night time from traffic and the pub across the road, but music finished around 10-10:30, so no problem. There is also parking very close, which you can pay for at a machine or online ahead of time. Very well organised booking and information was clear. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Its location has some very good aspects and some not so good. A short walk to the town centre and access to river walks excellent. It is adjacent to one of the main routes into the town and so there is some road noise, much alleviated by the bedroom being on the top floor. There is a pub opposite which has music on Friday and Sat but it is well managed and finishes about 10.30 so if its a problem you can just go over the road to join the fun. Overall we slept well. Cleaning was very good But the sofa in the lounge was very smelly. Michael did come out and changed the throw for a fresh one but the throw was only smelly because of the stinky sofa. The sofa was so smelly it spoiled what was otherwise a good stay in a great town.

Ideally situated, within easy walking distance from the city centre. The decor and level of comfort are off the scale. Lots of accessories included to help you enjoy your stay even more, dvds ,Wi-Fi, cutlery, corkscrew etc. Go on, treat yourself. We did, and loved it.
