Friendly welcome from Mary and very generous welcome pack. Great walks directly from the doorstep and interesting places to visit nearby. We definitely hope to return.

Milk, bread, cakes and biscuits had been left; all very nice. However, I wonder if the owners ever look at a property with 'fresh eyes'. On arriving seeing planters with dead plants and faded plastic sun loungers is not welcoming. And from inside the property all windows face nothing but a large expanse of grey gravel and unadorned fencing. It was the most depressing view we've ever experienced. We left after 3 nights of our 7 night booking. A shame as the surrounding countryside was stunning and we would return to the area but to a property with a view.
