Inglenook is a lovely warm and cosy cottage , it was very clean and tastefully decorated, the photos don’t quite do it justice when you first enter it make you feel welcome and at home.

It is about 15 mins walk to the centre of town ( the tree lined track was fine for us though it is summer it did rain rain quite often and I could see it being a bit muddy in winter , it is laid with stones though and there are plenty of car parks in town). We found the cottage really easily and the track was fine, in fact it was really lovely driving down the little tree lined lane and it means the cottage is tucked away in a the trees making it quiet and peaceful even though it’s in the town, you wouldn’t know it when sat out in the pretty garden where you can sit in a sun trap or have shade if you prefer, we enjoyed eating steak from the butchers in Ludlow in the evening sun in the garden ( I do think some loungers or hammocks or those garden bean bags would be a great addition. ) The kitchen is well stocked (you could even bake a cake) there is washing up liquid, wash powder, salt&pepper, tea, coffee, sugar and some little packets of biscuits , I think a little welcome hamper of local produce could be good here as they have Ludlow brewery, appleteme juice, Ludlow cheese, a chocolatier and a fantastic butchers to name a few, though I understand this might put the price up on what is very reasonably priced cottage for what you get, maybe some of the companies would do a deal, just a thought as the local produce is fantastic. The bathroom is smallish but it has everything you need (powerful shower) and is very clean. We found the living/dining plenty of space for 2 and if are grown up daughters had have joined us as planned there still would have been ample space (though maybe a queue for the bathroom). The beds are really comfortable, The super king and double( which was used as a retreat from someone!! Snoring) were sooooo comfy, normally it takes a night or two to get used to a different bed but we slept like logs instantly and the pillows were comfy too. I have a bad back but had no problems with it in these beds. The cottage is fantastically placed for exploring wider in Shropshire and Herefordshire with lots of castles and country parks etc, Stokesay castle is so picturesque and The Shropshire discovery centre at craven arms was a great find , with free parking, a cafe, toilets and loads of walks in beautiful countryside. Eating out is a must in Ludlow, bistro 7, the French pantry and the clive arms at the Ludlow food centre were all amazing, lunch at the Tia restaurant and bar was also fantastic. We would definitely stay here again Katherine and James do a great job and respond really well and quickly to any questions, we can’t wait to come back as we still have to eat at the feathers and Csons and hopefully might catch James playing jazz in Bishops castle.

One picture made it look like 2 sofas in living room which we prefer but only 1.

Not sure if furniture has been changed or Way picture was taken No welcome pack privided( first time ever in holiday we have booked with you) Description says shower over bath which is true but doesn’t state that you can’t stand up in bath to use shower. You have to sit in the bath (which wasn’t a full size bath). Had we taken my elderly parents with us they would not have been able to have a shower for 7 days. Only 3 teaspoons provided in kitchen No baking trays provided for cooking and no other dishes suitable for oven (this was a self catering property and as such these are basics). Dishwasher provided but only 4 dishwasher tablets for 4 days. Washing machine provided but no washing powder/liquid, etc. In all your other properties we have stayed if equipment like this is provided so are the items needed to use them. If coach house owners not providing these things it should’ve put in description then things can be brought from home rather than having to go out and buy them Towels in bathroom very small and very rough/hard. Have been used/washed so many times no writing left on labels. Need replacing. Hand towels, bath towels and bath mat all different colours - felt like they were just things owners had finished with themselves rather than something for guests. Definitely not the same standard as other 4 tick/star properties we have booked through you (we only use your company for holidays in this country and found this property was inferior to all the others we hVe stayed in with the same rating). Lots of little things missing which overall spoilt the whole experience

Stunning coach house cottage full of rustic charm & character in a peaceful area with beautiful surroundings.

Very clean with all the home from home utensils & appliances making this a comfortable stay. The bath is quite small with a hand held shower so if you are tall, it can be a bit uncomfortable. There is no way around this though with the cottage layout & beams. A cosy wood burner for the cooler evenings creeping in. The owners were a lovely, welcoming family with a small friendly dog that played with our dog. They had lots of tips about the local area also leaving a folder full of information & maps to look through & use if needed. So much to do on your doorstep with local walks & a short drive into the market Town of Ludlow. Would highly recommend & no hesitation staying again if we were in the area. The only thing I would say is the central heating system is controlled by the owners living next door & even though the wood burner was welcoming, the heating only came on for a short time twice a day. There were a couple of times we would of liked it on a little longer as it's getting colder now we're in October. I'm sure if we asked them to put it on again then they would of but it would of been nice to have that option.

We really enjoyed out stay at Inglenook.

The property was within easy walking distance to town, and just off a lovely street. The bungalow was decorated very tastefully and was equipped with everything you could need. In the lounge there is adequate seating for 4 adults at the dining table but only for 3 on the sofa and chair, the sofa isn't too comfortable so we watched TV in the bedroom. The beds were really comfortable and good quality. Ample wardrobe space and hangers to store all your clothes. The garden was pretty and well maintained, it was a shame it wasn't warm enough for us to sit out or have a barbeque. The driveway was ample for 2 average sized cars to easily come and go. The owners left us a lovely welcome card and provisions to make tea and coffee with nice biscuits which were appreciated. There is ample cleaning products in the kitchen cupboard, tea towels also which isn't always included elsewhere. We were sad to leave Inglewood as we could have lived there quite happily.

The cottage was comfortable and well equipped and in a pleasant location.

The parking arrangements were good in the forecourt of the owners house. The bell on the church opposite was noticeable in the quiet but was not disturbing. Our main concerns were the very low ceilings in the bathroom where the bath and hand shower were tucked under the eaves and likewise the toilet. Access is difficult for people who are less The other issue was the listing as having a pub within a mile. The pub was a long way down country lanes which are unlit and have no footpath. I am sceptical that it is within one mile. This is critical when this is a filter choice and a reason for considering the cottage,. We noticed that the information in the cottage said that the pub was about 30 mins walk while the website information at the time of booking said 15-20 mins walk.
