These events take place beneath the impressive castle and showcase a range of local goods - from cheeses and fresh produce to books and crafts. Ludlow is renowned for its shopping, with a number of high quality antique and craft shops, along with several Michelin-starred restaurants, numerous tea-shops and pubs. The castle itself is over 900 years old and the Linney Riverside Park provides boat hire, a putting green and children's play area. Ludlow is within easy reach of Church Stretton, Shrewsbury and Hereford, as well as popular attractions such as Ironbridge Gorge, Severn Valley Railway and Berrington Hall.
