Take care heading up the carpeted staircase, as it's fairly steep, once you reach the top, you will find the first double bedroom, offering a dressing table area with mirror, so you can get ready for each day, plus hanging space for clothes, plus bedside tables with lamps, should you wish to do a spot of late-night reading. Next door is the contemporary bathroom with a walk-in shower, the perfect way to start each day with an invigorating soak. Heading up to the second floor, the spacious master bedroom features a double bed, hanging space and bedside tables, plus a wonderful en-suite bathroom with a roll top bath and Velux window, so you can look out at the sky as you relax in the tub. The property lies on the main road that goes straight into the centre of Ludlow town, so you have a choice of shops and eateries practically on your doorstep, as well as exclusive boutique-style clothes and gift shops to peruse. Ludlow is known as a foodie's paradise, holding up a tradition of open-air markets in the market square several times a week that date back to the twelfth century, with a very special 'Local to Ludlow' produce market taking place intermittently on a Thursday. Ludlow Castle is a short distance from the property, and has stood for over 900 years as one of the first stone castles to be built in England. Below the caste, you can stroll around Millenium Green, one of the few spots along the River Teme which is easily accessible by the public, and why not enjoy a spot of lunch along the river at the Green Café? Further afield, the towns of Church Stretton, Shrewsbury and the cathedral city of Hereford are all in easy reach, as is the Shropshire Hills AONB in the Welsh Marshes, where you can enjoy walks along rivers, through woodland and meadows, and if you're feeling adventurous, climb Brown Clee Hill or The Stiperstones, the two largest hills in the county, and be rewarded with panoramic views from the top. The historic market town of Ludlow is situated on the River Teme, in Shropshire. Below the castle, Millenium Green offers lovely riverside strolls and excellent indoor and outdoor dining facilities via the Green Cafe. Ludlow is a foodie's delight, having held street markets since the twelfth century. Nowadays, a traditional open-air market takes place in the town square every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, with more than forty stalls selling a range of goods including fresh produce, cheeses, books and a selection of local crafts, with the 'Local to Ludlow' produce market some Thursdays and an Antique & Flea market some Sundays. Ludlow is also a gourmet’s paradise and a shopper’s dream. The town boasts many places to eat and drink, as well as a number of exclusive boutique-style clothes and gift shops.
