The Lodge is an elegant, modern log cabin in the village of Bedlam near to the historic town of Ludlow in Shropshire. With its open plan layout and outside covered barbecue area, this property is ideal for a family holiday. The well-furnished kitchen looks like that of a stately home with all of the equipment you could need in a secluded log cabin. Towards the back of the log cabin sits two large, fashionable bedrooms complete with dressing tables and delicate floral curtains and bed linen. The bathroom presents a large shower in a classy, aesthetic room complete with a heated towel rail and simple, stylish decor. The outside bares some of this property's best assets, boasting a hot tub and an undercover kitchen area, complete with a BBQ, fridge/freezer and comfy seating, making this into an astonishingly well designed property. If you manage to get out of this breathtaking log cabin, the market town of Ludlow has plenty to show, ranging from stunning views to rivers and countryside, it is home to many markets and Ludlow castle. Within driving distance stand impressive locations of Hereford and Shrewsbury, places with great history and interest to make your trip just that extra bit special. Overall an incredible property set in an amazing location.
The historic town of Ludlow is situated on the River Teme, amongst the countryside of the Welsh Marches. Ludlow provides a backdrop for the towns regular street markets, held in the shadow of the castle and showcasing a range of goods - from cheeses and fresh produce to books and local crafts. Ludlow is renowned for its shopping, with a number of antique and art and craft shops, along with restaurants and tea shops, pubs and inns. Ludlow Castle is over 900 years old and contains fascinating examples of architecture while below, the Millennium Green offers a large public riverside green and the popular Green Cafe.

Very clean well equipped and welcoming, the views were amazing. Although we had pretty cold weather including snow the lodge was never cold, we only lite the log burner for the effect and to be cosy. Fabulous outside kitchen/seating area next to the hot tub which was also lovely, clean and well maintained. Marie was also lovely and made sure we knew she was close if she was needed. We would love to go again in the future .

Weather wasn't great but with the hot tub and plenty of board games supplied we were happy! The covered patio area is a treat and the views are incredible. The dog loved it and had a huge area to run around safely whilst we through his ball for him. The cottage is classic and homely and Marie is on hand if you need her! She's amazing and really made us feel comfortable to relax on hand if we needed extra fire wood or sheets! Perfect host! Will 100% be returning!
